BIOGRAPHY
Widely recognised as one of the classiest and accomplished jazz/swing vocalists in the UK, GARY began singing at an early age, making an impression as a child soprano, first at school and then in local amateur performances in the Northamptonshire area from where he hails.
As a youth, under the expert guidance of singing teacher Gladys Riseley MBE his vocal talent continued to blossom, resulting in him performing solo at a national convention at the Royal Albert Hall. Since then he has appeared as lead vocalist with many bands before turning professional as a solo performer in the 1990's.
He is currently making a name for himself on the international scene with his 'Salute to Sinatra' and 'Kings of Swing' tribute shows, featuring songs associated with Frank Sinatra, Nat 'King' Cole, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett and Matt Monro amongst others, which have recently been re - popularised by the likes of Robbie Williams and Michael Buble.
In addition to his many appearances abroad, which have included several six-month seasons in the Balearic Islands, GARY has also performed in a number of UK theatres including London's West End, as well as for cruises, corporate events and private functions. He is also in much demand for weddings and in fact, he was recently featured in an episode of the BBC's 'Don't Tell The Bride' (see 'Video Clips' link on the menu).
