GARY GRACE & THE SWING KINGS
Gary can perform with a band of various sizes known as GARY GRACE & THE SWING KINGS, ranging from a duo to an 18-piece orchestra!
For example, as 'The Swing Kings Duo' he can be accompanied by a pianist to perform classy background music to a drinks reception or dinner and a larger band can then also play for dancing afterwards if required.
The larger band formats are normally as follows:
The 3-piece band would normally comprise of vocals, piano and either drums or bass, with the 4-piece line-up including both drums and bass.
For a fuller sound, a saxophone would complete the 5-piece line-up; adding a trumpet and trombone for a 6-piece and 7-piece band respectively.
Gary also fronts larger ensembles, including the 9-piece 'Shiny Stockings Orchestra' and the 18-piece 'Big Swing Band'
For his engagements around the UK and Europe, Gary draws from a pool of some of the nation's finest session musicians, usually seeking to engage players as close to the venue location as possible to keep client costs to a minimum.
